The following are sample messages to assist with setting up your PDF Builder content to recipients, when using the Password Protection drop-down field to select either Date of Birth (MM/DD/YYYY) or Student Number for the file’s password.

When using Password Protection of Date of Birth (MM/DD/YYYY):

Parents/Guardians of [firstname/],

Please see attached file for a copy of the report card for [firstname/]. This file is password protected and you will need to enter the date of birth for [firstname/] in MM/DD/YYYY format to access the report. For example, 01/13/1997. 

This report has also been posted to the parent portal and can be viewed under the Documents & Files section.
