Hello [First Name]:

[District Name/School Name] is pleased to announce that, in addition to accessing SwiftK12 through PowerSchool, you also have the ability to access integrated messaging capabilities through their mobile app and standalone site (https://k12.swiftreach.com), as well.  Preferred browser types for the standalone site are Google Chrome and Mozilla Firefox.

Next steps:

1.    Under separate cover, you will receive a text message from [Short Code] with your temporary password to access both the mobile app as well as the standalone site.

2.    If you have not done so, already, please download the SwiftK12 PS mobile app from the App Store (if using iPhone) or Play Store (if using Android).

3.    Through either the mobile app or the standalone site, simply enter in your PowerSchool login, followed by the temporary password that was sent to you by text message, our customer code: [Customer Code] and then press Login.

4.    You now have access to the same functionality and PowerSchool synced data as you do in SwiftK12, including creating and sending new alerts, sending your developed Quick Alerts, and managing your scheduled alerts.

Tip! It is recommended to go to the Settings menu within the SwiftK12 PS mobile app

or through the Password button on the main menu of the standalone site

to change your password after initial login to something that will be easy to remember.

If you have additional questions or need additional assistance, please contact Support at k12support@alertsolutions.com. You may also select Live Online Help from the Live HELP! Menu in SwiftK12 when in PowerSchool, if you are experiencing issues during the available times of online assistance.

Tip! When sending in an email ticket, please include your PowerSchool user name and school name within the body of the message to assist with triage and faster response.

Thank you.
